We celebrated with...
crafts at the park,
cookie decorating and devouring,
and crafts at home.
The children spent two hours creating St. Valentine cards for family and friends only to have all our party plans swept away by a lost car key. My poor little ones are learning very early that life moves according to God's time and will rather than our own. Fortunately, the weeping subsided quickly and they made the most of the day by remembering that we had never made the rice crispy treat grotto for Our Lady of Lourdes. Thus, we ended up with a double celebration today. What resourceful children!
